It's interesting that there are only 2 types of categorical data for us to learn to deal with - and only 4 types in total (2 types of continuous data - more on that in another course).

This means that we only need to learn a small amount of information to be able to identify a certain types of data - and once you know what data type you have, you then know what you can and can't do with it!
